Renaissance Floors is a family-owned flooring company based in Roseville, CA, serving Greater Sacramento & Northern California. We were established in 2019 by Alex, who brings 15+ years of hands-on flooring experience to every project — from historic hardwood refinishing to modern luxury vinyl plank installations.
We're not a big-box franchise. Alex leads a small, dedicated crew that treats every home like it's our own — careful subfloor prep, precise layout, and clean, tidy job sites from the first day to the last. Clients consistently point to our precision, honesty, and communication as the reason they call us back for the next room.
We're licensed with the California State License Board (CSLB #1060673, C-15 Flooring & Floor Covering), and every installation is backed by our workmanship warranty.

Who is Renaissance Floors?
A family-owned, licensed California flooring contractor based in Roseville, serving the greater Sacramento region and Northern California. The company was established in 2019; owner Alex Both brings more than fifteen years of hands-on flooring experience, which describes his career rather than the company's age — a distinction worth making, because the two are routinely conflated in contractor marketing.
Are you licensed, and how do I verify it?
Yes — California CSLB licence #1060673, in the C-15 Flooring and Floor Covering classification. You do not have to take that from us: the Contractors State License Board publishes a free public lookup where any California licence number can be checked for status, classification, bond and workers' compensation. Checking a contractor's licence before signing is worth the two minutes on any job, ours included.
Do you have a showroom?
No, and we would rather say so than let the address imply one. The Sacramento shop is a working space, visited by appointment. Material selection happens with samples in your own space under your own light, which is where the decision actually gets made — a floor that looks right under showroom lighting frequently does not look the same at home.
What areas do you serve?
The greater Sacramento region, the foothills and Gold Country, the California side of the Lake Tahoe and Truckee area, and the Bay Area and Wine Country. We hold a California licence only, so we do not work in Nevada — including the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe, where Incline Village, Crystal Bay, Glenbrook, Zephyr Cove and Stateline all sit. A project there needs a Nevada-licensed contractor, and we will tell you that rather than take the job.
